STEP THREE: Decide how you would like to be recognized. We would like to recognize you in a way that is meaningful to you. Membership in the Infinity Circle serves as an example for others to follow. However, if you prefer, we will honor your request for anonymity.

Like your everyday actions, your charitable gifts have an impact on others. They feed the hungry, sustain the arts, deliver cures and educate minds.

Perhaps you have considered a charitable legacy to continue your philanthropy beyond your lifetime, to have your family name remembered and your philanthropy woven into the lives of others. With a legacy gift, you can. We invite you to join others whose philanthropy will endure through a gift they have planned in their estate.

We invite you to join our Infinity Circle, the legacy society of the Community Foundation. The Infinity Circle was established to honor those forward thinking individuals who will leave an indelible mark on our community through a gift from their estate. Too often, these thoughtful gifts go unrecognized because they come at the end of a donor’s life.

The Infinity Circle is our way of acknowledging your commitment to the future—today. To become a member is simple. Include the Community Foundation of South Central Kentucky as a beneficiary of a gift from your estate, and notify us of your plan. With your professional advisor we will help create a charitable fund to

preserve your name and honor your charitable intent through your recognition as an Infinity Circle Member.

With the Community Foundation as your partner in philanthropy, your Fund can allow your heirs to inherit much more than money. You may designate them as advisors to recommend charitable gifts after you are gone. They will inherit your value of giving back through a simple vehicle that unites them with each other and the community.

Think of it as your private foundation. When the Community Foundation receives a gift, we establish a separate and distinct Fund. The Fund is the vehicle that preserves your philanthropy and family name, while fulfilling your stated charitable purpose.

The assets are invested and grants made from the Fund. Grants carry the name given to the Fund, and your philanthropy endures. It is rarely a question of whether a person can leave a philanthropic legacy.

Everyone can be a philanthropist. More often, it is a question of how.

If you would like to explore your philanthropic legacy, contact the Community Foundation for a personal consultation. The Community Foundation of South Central Kentucky is dedicated to building an endowed stream of support for our community, today and tomorrow.

We steward the dreams and legacies of generous people whose philanthropy delivers a brighter future—one day and one life at a time. Thanks to the vision of our founders and the many generous philanthropists in our community, we will ensure that South Central Kentucky is made up of healthy and vibrant communities.
