FOR NON-PROFITS

The Community Foundation of South Central Kentucky meets the changing needs of South Central Kentucky through our discretionary and donor fund grant-making. Some donors have created funds to support designated charitable agencies, to provide scholarships to students or to support their ongoing, evolving charitable interests.

Other donors have established funds with a broader purpose or have entrusted the Community Foundation with unrestricted dollars to respond to the community’s current and evolving needs. Through both types of grant-making, CFSKY is able to change lives and transform communities.

Our Grant Distribution Committee, which includes board members and knowledgeable community representatives, makes annual competitive grants targeted to critical community needs. Since our grantmaking inception, CFSKY has awarded more than $400,000 to deserving charities that help our community.
